Why is my machine rejecting containers?

If you notice that your leak testing machine is rejecting too many containers or all containers, there are several simple things you can do to determine the cause of the issue.

Review the HMI to see the description of the reject. Using the information in the HMI description, refer to your manual to determine why the reject is occurring. Your manual will classify why the containers are being rejected and provide detailed descriptions as to why the failure is occurring. It also provides information about how to address the failure. If, after reviewing the manual, you still require further assistance or support, contact our leak testing specialists 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST using the Service Hotline: (800) 325-8717.

+-

Why is my leak testing machine not working?

While this is a broad range question, your HMI can help. Review the HMI and see if there is an alarm. Click to view the alarm in the HMI or read in your manual.

Your next step is to review the ‘Status’ message. The status message offers information that can further assist you in whatever issue may be causing your machine to fail or not run.

How do I access my preventive maintenance schedule and/or manual?

Every new ALPS Inspection leak testing machine shipment includes a manual with the preventive maintenance schedule inside.

If you cannot locate your original manual, contact the ALPS Inspection team, so we can email you a free copy of your manual or send a replacement physical copy.

How do I get a replacement part?

If you find yourself in need of a replacement part, simply contact the ALPS Inspection team.

When you reach out to our team, be sure to have the serial number of your machine. It is also helpful to provide us with a photo or detailed description of what you are looking to replace.
