SS Linear
The ALPS SS Linear bottle leak detector is a fast and accurate system and a general all purpose machine for bottle leak testing applications generally ranging from 10 BPM up to 160 BPM for the smallest container sizes. The SS Linear bottle leak detector incorporates an integrated vacuum conveyor that optimizes container handling to maximize throughput and the sensitivity of the leak test. The bottle leak detector conveyor runs continuously between tests. When the test photo-eye senses presence of a container, the conveyor is immediately stopped, a probe extends to form a leak tight seal, and the container is tested for leakage using a Pressure Decay test method. If the container is Bad, it is ejected from the bottle leak detector immediately after the test, and the conveyor restarts. If the container is Good, the bottle leak detector conveyor starts when the test is complete. Common applications for the SS Linear bottle leak detector include the following blow molding processes:
