NexGen Rotary Container Inspection Systems ALPS has advanced the state-of-the art with introduction of the completely new NexGen Rotary container leak inspection systems. The main improvements include higher speeds, better leak test sensitivity, quicker / more repeatable changeovers, and easy access to machine & test data. The control system features the new Leak Test Controller (“LTC”) test heads on each station. The LTC uses a modular concept incorporating the test electronics, probe, cylinder, manifold and valves in a single quick-connect assembly. This allows very fast and accurate response times to maximize the leak test performance. All LTC information is available for review through the standard color touch screen interface. The NexGen Rotary includes significant advancements in changeover capability. Mechanical changeover is quick and repeatable, requiring no tools or adjustments, and takes 10-15 minutes in total. Each change parts tooling component can only be mounted in the correct position and timing, using quick-lock attachments. ALPS has become a standard for high speed on-line container leak inspection systems, enabling our customers to meet stringent quality demands while supporting market trends including container light-weighting, increased usage of recycled materials, and continued introduction of new container types and materials.
